Annual Meeting and
Election of Officers Oct. 20th
Please join us for the annual membership meeting
and potluck supper of the Pittsford Historical Society to be held Sunday,
Oct. 20th 5:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church.
Jean Harvie, treasurer of the Society, will present a
program on the basics of family history research and outline
the information available at Eaton Hall.
Jean will explain why genealogy is an exciting,
fun-filled, detective-like hobby lasting a lifetime. The Society has an
extensive genealogical library, and families researching their roots this
past summer were thrilled to find some of the missing pieces to their family
trees.
A nominating committee of Richard Beriau,
Len Lumsden, & John Cadwell will present the slate of officers and directors
for 2003 to be voted on by the membership.
